Case Studies

At Soucy Communications Group, we tailor our services to our clients' specific needs. We develop custom campaigns that meet our clients' objectives and exceed their expectations. Here are a few examples:
Company Launch
Situation: A pre-launch company (former client founding new company) sought to establish itself in the digital signage marketplace without an advertising budget and with only limited marketing funds.

SCG's Response: SCG began working with the company and developed an aggressive PR campaign. SCG helped develop the overall marketing communications program, advised on Webinars and conducted Web site usability tests, and developed and wrote brochure copy and a monthly customer/prospect/reseller newsletter.

Results: The launch publicity helped the company win two new business competition cash awards and secure $250,000 in angel funding. In addition to the several marketing support programs, SCG also arranged early-stage media interviews and secured a cover story in the company’s top target publication shortly after the product launch. Several product introduction articles ran in industry publications, and in target vertical publications in education, healthcare, and local/regional business, as well as blogs.

Situation:
A small manufacturer of materials test equipment had no PR program but sought to raise company and product awareness on a limited budget.

SCG's Response: SCG began with a comprehensive market and competitive analysis project, and, based on the findings, established a communications program using product announcements, bylined articles, as well as speaking engagements and in-person interviews at tradeshows. SCG also developed a series of customer applications success stories for use on the company’s Web site and with trade publications.

Results:  The media coverage raised company awareness and increased its Search Engine Optimization (SEO) profile, which resulted in increased Web site traffic and sales.
Product Awareness
Situation: A major integrated facilities services company sought to establish itself as the leading provider of environmentally preferred cleaning services. Its marketing group developed a branding strategy and campaign.

SCG's Response: SCG developed and implemented a sustained proactive PR campaign that included news, company-authored articles, as well as tradeshow speaking engagements. The campaign was directed at building and facilities services, real estate, college and university and other vertical industry segments.

Results: The PR campaign, coordinated with the marketing campaign, resulted in the company becoming the undisputed green cleaning leader. Company representatives were invited to speak at industry forums and prospects contacted the company to invite bids based on its environmental reputation. The UNICCO GreenClean initiative was also selected as a 2007 PR News Corporate Social Responsibility Award winner in the Environmental Communications category.
